Account Manager – Jam Van
Jam Van Inc. is growing again! We are looking for a self-motivated, self-starting Account Manager superstar to join our Toronto sales team.

Who Are You: You know the landscape – clients and agency players. You’re a cold calling machine that doesn’t wait for an opportunity to find you; rather you find and create the opportunity. You know media sales fundamentals, have sales experience, and are looking to make the jump and grow with an exciting, fresh and seasoned organization. You’re a team player, but also work well on your own. You’re extremely creative, and know how to structure a deal…from concept development to proposal generation, presentation, negotiation and final sign-off. You’re not an “order-taker”, rather a proactive lead generator that knows the importance of client service, and is not happy until the deal is done. You are good at establishing long term relationships with clients.
Reports to: Director of Sales
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales while consistently meeting and exceeding advertising revenues at both agency and client-direct levels
- Coordinate, cultivate and produce customer leads and provide follow up
- Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technology developments
- Internal and client follow up to ensure delivery of campaigns are on pace
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through rapid responses to customer inquiries
- Actively participate in the development of sales tools
- Manage the implementation of larger projects when necessary, including campaigns sold across multiple platforms
- Organize sales related data and maintain weekly/monthly sales reports
- Work on special projects of strategic importance at the direction of management
- Other related duties that may be deemed necessary
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in sales
- You have a proven track-record, have been successful in an established media company, consistently exceeding targets
- You clearly understand how to establish an objective, formulate a strategy, and implement the execution
- Extremely strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- You embrace cold calling, and thoroughly understand the sales cycle with direct clients
- Open to constructive criticism, mentoring, and coaching from SeniorManagement when required
- Ability to multitask with a strong work ethic
- Independent, action-oriented

Compensation:
- Base + Commission – commensurate with experience
Position and responsibilities will expand based on proven competence across core deliverables. Future initiatives include growth in international markets, new channels, etc.
