We are looking for a skilled Flash animator to join our team. Collaborating with the Creative Director, the Flash Animator will create animations using art assets generated from our art team. These art assets will be swappable using dynamic loading via XML for a cutting-edge online technology. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who possesses a high degree of personal accountability, a clear sense of ownership, and the ability to adapt to change quickly in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:

• Exceptional knowledge of Flash animation techniques and motion
• Capable of creating animations both by timeline and programmatically
• Ability to collaborate with a Flash programmer to produce dynamic titles and images
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with the Creative Director
• Must possess the ability to effectively present ideas, both verbally and visually
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet simultaneous demands
• Passionate about art and layout
• Strong design, creative, and organizational skills

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of work experience
• Expert knowledge of Flash
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
• Understanding of ActionScript 3
• Post Secondary diploma/certificate/degree, or related experience in field
• Online portfolio of work showcasing artistic and technical skills
