About the job

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Coordinator to join a dynamic and fast paced marketing team to be based out of our Burnaby office.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate’s main duties will include:

Responsibility for industry event, trade show planning and execution. Attendance and on-site management of trade shows in both North America and Europe will be required;
Manage and execute community and promotional events;
Customer service and sales support, including the coordination of sales support materials like brochures and promotional items;
Investor and media relations support;
Perform other duties or special projects as the need arises.
This successful candidate will play an active role in helping us establish a leading brand within the alternative energy sector. The right candidate will have the opportunity to obtain a broad range of marketing experience working in a global, publicly listed company.

About you

You have two to five years of relevant experience, and a passion for all things marketing. Your interpersonal skills are stellar, and you have a natural ability to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Solid organizational and time management skills are a given, and you are able to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You must have previous event coordination experience. You also bring to the table an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline. Experience in alternative energy or clean-tech would be great, but it is not required.
