A dynamic and award-winning agency in downtown Toronto, with top tier corporate global clients in the Food and Consumer Marketing practices is seeking Senior PR Practitioner with 10+ years experience with a track record for driving new business.
The ideal candidate must be adept at client counsel, have excellent media relations skills and relationships, as well as event and project management expertise.
They offer candidates an excellent client roster in a fast-paced environment ideal for creative team players who can meet multiple deadlines and who thrive in a high energy atmosphere.
Requirements:
- IR and communications consulting experience, preferably with experience in both a consulting and corporate environment;
- Proven ability and experience managing, motivating and mentoring staff to implement strategies and programs
- Experience in a consulting environment managing a broad client base;
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for timely disclosure, corporate governance and other issuer-related matters;
- A proven track record developing and winning new business
- Exemplary writing, presentation and time/project management skills;
- Ability to effectively interact with and provide counsel to clients, primarily CEO’s, CFO’s and other members of senior management;
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian capital markets and investment community, as well as current regulatory requirements;
- Undergraduate degree and CSC designation or equivalent required;
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions consulting would be an asset.
