Sweetspot.ca Inc. is looking for an editor for SweetHome for a one-year contract.

Responsibilities:
Oversee editorial calendar and write content for SweetHome that fits our brand, interests our readers and shows that we are the leader when it comes to introducing what’s new in home decor, entertaining, etc.
Oversee the Travel section
Source and manage freelance writers
Oversee the budget
Play a role in mentoring assistant editors, associate editors and interns
Be a brand ambassador for SweetHome, continually strategizing on how to elevate the profile of the section
Maintain both external and internal partnership relationships for key content

Qualifications
Five years of experience writing or editing online for a brand with a similar feel/style
Proven success in producing well-written content within tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
An eye for all that is sweet in terms of home decor, entertaining, etc…
